Juan Luís Ruiz | Barcelona Provincial Council

Juan Luís Ruiz is an economist and mechanical technical industrial engineer. He expanded his studies with a Master’s degree in Business Management and Organisation and a Master’s in Public Management from ESADE. He is currently the head of the list for the PSC in Vilanova i la Geltrú. He is the Deputy Manager of Tourism at Barcelona Provincial Council.

A worker on leave of absence at the multinational CIE Automotive, he has been an associate professor at the UPC. He has been a councillor for the government and the opposition. From 1999 to 2011, he had government responsibilities in training, employment, education and public roads. Between 2015 and April 2018, he was the First Deputy Mayor and Councillor for Economic Promotion, New Governance and Communication.
