Tools for thinning tourist density and promoting off-season tourism in the Mediterranean

The 22 projects that make up the MED Community of Sustainable Tourism work on three major thematic lines: the development of alternatives to sun and beach tourism based on the resources and potential of the Mediterranean, tourism impact management and improved tourist planning and governance. In this block of experiences, we will discuss three technological tools developed by three European Community projects focused on tourism flow management, gamification for breaking up tourist density and calculation of the ecological footprint in natural areas.
